And am I the subject to it everyday? If I'm told it's too melancholic to sing about it this way But it is real isn't it? So why bother to give in? It's on my mind, set You can interpret it as worthless It's on my mind yet It’s been called too absurd But when I'm lonely in a corner Sucking back the air I wheeze Will you wanna hold my hand then? Will you come find me?

Do not lose the light in your eye What keeps it down I cannot decide I feel the weight of it on the line What keeps it down? I won’t even lie Do lose the light in front of your eye What keeps the shine you cannot define Do not lose the light in your eye “I can resist tonight, I can’t lose tonight” Do not lose the light in your eye Do not lose the child inside/in sight “I know it to be true, you can’t refuse I know it to be true, you can’t refuse” In a moment I have chosen a form In a moment I have chosen your form I have chosen your form,,, Do not lose the light in your eye Do not lose the time on your side I can now resume I loosen up my view I’ve loosened up on you

Are you noticing a change? I’m noticing that I stray From you Are you noticing a change? I’m noticing that I stray From you And it’s going to take a lot to stay And it’s going take a lot change For you It’s going take a lot for you

Do you believe in the ways we get down? I do believe that you’ll always catch me Do you believe in the ways we fall down? I do believe in the way that you’ll catch me when I fall down Do you intend to lie down? I do concede in the ways that you pull me in I do believe that I have let you down I do believe we can make it up Don’t worry now You’re still around

In your light you will say "Love isn’t all that you make of it" In your life I can change "How do you know we’re still made for it?" I cannot fall if you sing "How do you wonder if I am here?" Love isn’t made for you to sing "How do I know if I’m made for it?" If I know you are a light I know that I will always try Not to be late but to arrive Cuz love is what you make of it Cuz love is what? We were made for it

Everybody wants to love me Could I keep my arms wide open? Could I keep my mind clear? Could I keep my arms wide open? Could I keep my mind so clear? Could I keep my arms wide open? Could I keep my mind clear? Could I keep my arms wide open? Could I keep my mind so full of… "Everybody wants to love you" Everybody wants to love me "Everybody wants to love you" Everybody wants to! Could I keep my arms wide open? Could I keep my mind clear? Could I keep my arms wide open? Why is my mind so full of fear? Could I keep my arms wide open? Could I keep my mind so clear? Could I keep my arms wide open? Could I keep my mind so clear of fear? Everybody wants to love me...

Doesn’t it get better when you know what to do? The fade won’t last forever and the show ain’t free Isn’t it hard? Isn’t it everything but better? I know it is tired, but it’s still inspiring me “Nothing, forever everything" Doesn’t it get better when you know the truth? Letting go gets easier as you fade away from view Isn’t it hard? "No I don’t think so!" Letting love in: “I’m trying hardest!” Nothing forever, everything Everything forever, nothing Forever nothing, everything Forever everything, nothing Nothing forever, everything Forever everything

about

After a couple weeks of going back and forth between the studio and my home to attempt to capture some adequate and real performances with classical guitar, voice, synthesizer and piano, I’m happy to release a small album of songs titled ‘nothing forever, everything’. Written in the middle of a bizarre and heavy time last fall, I sat down with the title written and wrote seven of the eight songs in two evenings as a tried to create some kind of emotional and creative release through the form personal concerts for myself. It’s a swell thing to get to do from time to time and helps to process whatever has happened in a period of time. In any case, I turned out to really like them and felt they were whole enough to share.

They are in the order they were written, with the same initial titles and I added the first song which I had written some time before afterwards. I want to thank Michael Feuerstack, Corey Gulkin, Tim Crabtree (Paper Beat Scissors) and Rachel Nam for contributing to this project and being so up for working within a short and spontaneous space of time. :) For now the album lives bandcamp, where I think all music should belong. If enough of you would like a tape, I will make some.

I hope you find some comfort and release in these pieces. Thx u. Always. For listening <3
